"It is 3077--a thousand years since the discovery of the "trans gene". Hundreds of years since the last trans person had been eradicated by the United Church of Necrosis. It is 3077 and the genetic monitoring chip of one, Cruise Montellier, has set off an alarm that no one in New America has heard in hundreds of years. Puberty has awakened the latent trans gene in Cruise Montellier--and awakened with it the monstrous apparatus that seeks the full eradication of our kind.

It's just the smaller version for reading on the computer. I assumed people preferred that version because the page turns will be faster. People had complained in the past about the higher version because it's slower to read. I'll add in the option to download the higher res version.
